Are you Applying as a Freshman or Transfer Student?
You are eligible for admission consideration based on high school or transfer course work or upon placement testing in several skill areas (writing, reading, mathematics, etc.). Veteran applicants to Frostburg State follow the same application process as regular students.

Application Fee Waiver
Frostburg State waives the fees for military affiliates. To have your application fee waived, you can attach a copy of your military orders or your DD-214 form to your online application to verify your service. You can also send it separately to the Admissions office via email to fsuadmissions@soadonefnet.com.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
As a Veteran, you and your dependents may be eligible for educational benefits through numerous GI Bill® programs. Additionally, Frostburg State participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and offers scholarships for veterans. The Veterans Center can help you with utilizing your military education benefits.
